Let Them Be Kids is an all volunteer non-profit organization created to build community capacity on the grassroots level, while building playgrounds, skate parks and fitness parks across Canada. These projects leave a legacy of community members who are inspired and better equipped to lay a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

Dotmocracy Event

Hey kids! Come join in the fun on February 20th, 2010! It will be at Syl Apps Community Centre from 1-3 p.m. All kids are invited to participate in a 'Dotmocracy' where they can help decide what play equipment they want most in the park.

If you don't know what Dotmocracy is, everyone gets paper dots to put on pictures of play equipment they like the most. There will be many play equipment pieces to choose from, and the ones with the most dots will be included in the design for the park. Participants are also welcome to help make the ribbon which will be cut at the build day in June.
